1. About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to your use of this website and the services provided by The VA Sidekick. By using the website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Services
The VA Sidekick provides virtual assistant, digital business, creative, AI, and related support services to small businesses. All services are provided on a flexible, agreed basis. A quote or proposal will be provided before any work begins, and work will only proceed once the scope and payment terms are agreed.
3. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting an enquiry form does not create a contract. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote or, if not stated, for 14 days from the date issued. Work is only confirmed once both parties have agreed the quote, scope, and payment arrangements.
4. Payment
Payment terms will be agreed before work starts. For one-off projects, payment may be required in advance or in instalments. For ongoing support, payment is usually due in advance of the support period unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may result in paused work until payment is received.
5. Cancellations and refunds
If you need to cancel a booked project, please let me know as soon as possible. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the work already completed. No refund is guaranteed for work already carried out.
6. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of any materials, content, or assets you provide to me. Once payment is received in full, any finished work created specifically for you as part of the agreed scope will be transferred to you, unless otherwise agreed in writing. I reserve the right to use generic tools, templates, and processes developed for my own business.
7. Confidentiality
I treat your business information, passwords, systems, and customer data as confidential. I will only use it to carry out the work you have asked for and will not share it with third parties without your permission, except where required by law.
8. Liability
I take reasonable care to provide services to a professional standard. However, I am not liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from the use of my services or website. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
9. Website content
I make every effort to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but I cannot guarantee that all content is error-free. I may update the website and these terms at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
